Steve Green started out on the alto saxophone at 14 years old after discovering Charlie Parker, he then switched to bass guitar a short while later inspired by Paul McCartney, James Jamerson and Jaco Pastorius.
He has been playing professionally for over 20 years, and has covered many different styles including Rock, Pop, Big band swing, Soul and Latin. Tours & sessions followed with artists such as 50s legendary rocker PJ Proby, esteemed Guitarist Ronnie Johnson (Georgie Fame, Van Morrison), Nashville guitarist Forrest Lee Jnr, UK Latin Jazz band PAZ and Lee Small (Andy Scott's SWEET) whilst he also performs in various award winning theatre tribute shows Worldwide, including - Ultimate Elton and The Rocket Band and The Spirit Of Elvis Show.
TV credits include This Morning and he has performed at The Hammersmith Apollo, 100 Club, Lyric Theatre (West End) and Carfest Retro Festival.
